Antelope Valley Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Specialists (AVORS) Medical Group is pleased to announce that Dr. Orlando Pena, DO has won AV Best 2024 in Pain Management. This is the second year that AV Best has included pain management into their nomination criteria and this is the first win for Dr. Orlando Pena. Who is award winning physician Dr. Orlando Pena, DO?

Dr. Orlando Pena is a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), Board Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R), and performs electro-diagnostic studies such as an electromyogram (EMG) and nerve conduction study (NCS). He is currently one of two AVORS Pain Management physicians in the entire Antelope Valley making regular hospital and nursing home rounds.

Dr. Pena is specially-trained as a Physiatrist who treats injuries and illnesses, both of which have the potential to affect how you move, compromising activities of daily living. Treatment focuses on nerves, muscles, and bones. He’s also an expert at diagnosing and treating pain and/or dysfunction with the objective of restoring maximum health and quality of life to patients of all ages, whether they have difficulty functioning at home, at school, in the workplace, or during recreational activities.
