Quality Care for Our Antelope Valley and LA County Community

AVORS Medical Group now provides mobile collection sites for members of the community who have been screened by a physician, received lab orders and or made an appointment by either texting “Antibody Screen” To 1-877-482-8677 or call 661-726-5005 to be transferred to the COVID-19 team. Our process is led by a trained Watch Commander and crew with previous H1N1 testing site experienced staff.

Viral and Antibody Tests

There are two kinds of tests are available for AVORS COVID-19 testing site: Viral Nasal Swab Tests and Rapid Antibody Tests.

  • A viral test tells you if you have a current infection (IgM)
  • An antibody test tells you if you had a previous infection (IgG) or a current infection (IgM).

An antibody rapid test may not be able to show if you have a current infection within 3-7 days. We recommend retesting if you have persistent symptoms. We do not know yet if having antibodies to the virus can protect someone from getting infected with the virus again, or how long that protection might last.

Where do we go to get tested?

We perform scheduled patient who have made an appointment at 42135 10th St W Ste 101, Lancaster, CA 93534
We can go on site to visit companies with 50 or more employees being tested.

Who should be tested?

To learn if you have a current infection, viral tests or rapid antibody tests are used.

Most people will have mild illness and can recover at home without medical care and may not need to be tested.

CDC has guidance for who should be tested, but decisions about testing are made by state and localexternal icon health departments or healthcare providers.

If you have symptoms of COVID-19 and want to get tested, call your healthcare provider or text AVORS at 1-877-48-AVORS to be added to our schedule.

Although supplies of tests are increasing, it may still be difficult to find a place to get tested. AVORS Medical Group provides Rapid Antibody testing and if you should test positive (IgM) for COVID-19, we will perform a nasal swab for a confirmatory test.

If you test positive for COVID-19 by a viral test, know what protective steps to take if you are sick or caring for someone. Visit our Facebook page at avorsmedgroup. We have a COVID19 Handout page with all current information.

If you test negative for COVID-19 by a viral test, you probably were not infected at the time your sample was collected. However, that does not mean you will not get sick. The test result only means that you did not have COVID-19 at the time of testing. If you feel persistent symptoms, call or text 1-877-48-AVORS to be tested again.

If you test positive or negative for COVID-19, no matter the type of test, you still should take preventive measures to protect yourself and others.
